About Us
TAF Charity Events organises parties and events, bringing together great people, all in aid of supporting charitable causes around the world.
We, Nicola Thomas, Amina Adede and Charlotte Flatley, originally set up TAF Charity Events in April 2008 driven by our shared passion for volunteering and fundraising… it all happened one night, as we were putting together 100 goody bags for The All Hallows Eve Ball (see previous events) that we decided to commit ourselves and setup TAF Charity Events.
We were keen to create events that benefited not only the charitable cause but also the people donating to the cause. As there are so many causes around the world that need funding, we decided that each event would support a different one. Working and living in london, we know first-hand that it is close to impossible to achieve that work-life balance and without holidays and parties to look forward to life can be all about work – so dull! So we are hoping that TAF will help re-address that balance and give like-minded individuals in London the chance to socialise and just generally let their hair down whilst doing something good at the same time.
